The Caixafòrum is in the building of the old Casaramona textile factory, work of the Modernist architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch. It has been totally remodelled today and functions as a cultural centre dedicated to exhibitions, music, literature, media library, etc.

There are two reserved car parking places in the street, on the road opposite. Moreover in Avinguda Reina Maria Cristina there is a municipal underground car park with lift, where the two places reserved for disable persons are suitably indicated. It does not connect directly with the building, so that to enter you must first go outside. Access is by lift or stairs from the street.

It is possible to visit the Modernist building. In the case of groups of people in wheelchairs, you should inform when registering so that the route can be adapted.

The different floors are linked by several spacious lifts. Room 3 is the only one which is entered from the back part, from the ground floor lift. The auditorium is on level ground and people in wheelchairs can watch from the last row. There are several correctly adapted toilet facilities. The permanent exhibition has audio guides at a price of 2 e. Guided visits are also organised for deaf people, whether through sign language or oralism (Tel. 93 476 86 35). The outside signposting could be better, since the colours used have little contrast.

The restaurant, in the same building, serves Mediterranean cuisine. The menus vary according to the exhibitions.
The Caixafòrum offers a very varied programme of cultural activities.

The Military Museum is in the Montjuïc castle, the fortress that overlooks the city and the port from the southwest. The visit is recommendable not only for the exhibition, but also for the magnificent views of the city.

Whoever possesses the patience of a saint can park their car in the upper area. The paving of the area is cobbled which makes it difficult for wheelchair users to get around. The basement is not accessible in a wheelchair. There are two fixed audio guides in different languages.
