The Barcelona Aquarium is the biggest in Europe. It is also noteworthy because it contains a large section specialised in Mediterranean aquatic environments.

The entire route around the facilities is easy for wheelchair users. The displays and fish tanks are generally speaking at a correct height. The building is connected vertically by a large lift.

It has an adapted toilet.

Boat trips around the port and the city coastline. Departures and arrivals from the Portal de la Pau, opposite the Columbus monument.

Only the more modern boats, the Trimar and Omnibus catamarans, are partly adapted for people in wheelchairs, by means of a steep ramp that requires the help of the crew to embark and disembark.

There is a correctly adapted toilet and spaces reserved for occupants of wheelchairs inside, next to the bar.
