The Barcelona Aquarium is the biggest in Europe.
It is also noteworthy because it contains a large section specialised
in Mediterranean aquatic environments.
The entire route around the facilities is easy for wheelchair
users. The displays and fish tanks are generally speaking at
a correct height. The building is connected vertically by a large
lift.
It has an adapted toilet.

Only the more modern boats, the Trimar and Omnibus catamarans,
are partly adapted for people in wheelchairs, by means of a steep
ramp that requires the help of the crew to embark and disembark.
There is a correctly adapted toilet and spaces reserved for occupants
of wheelchairs inside, next to the bar.
