The Cervantes Park is known for its enormous rose garden, measuring
four hectares, where you can see 10,000 rose plants of more than
220 different varieties. The explosion of colour and powerful
scent is quite spectacular when the roses are in flower.
The main accesses, by Avinguda Diagonal and Avinguda Esplugues,
are by stairs only (20 steps in total). There is a side access
in Carrer Manuel Ballbé, on level ground, along a route
with a steep slope and irregular paving. The park has no toilet
facilities.
The majority of routes around the park have some steps, but there
are also routes via ramps, which you have to look for because
they are not indicated.
The Cervantes Park enables you
to look at roses from the five continents.
